Oh cool!!! Nice shirts :)

Pretty happy with how they turned out. and pleased they were done a day early too:blinking:

And I see mine

Very Nice

And it looks like my new set of gear may arrive this afternoon.

And I am very excited.

I will try out my 10-17 Tokina lens and I am looking forward to doing a lot sillouhette and shark shots.

Yoohoo

yep... there is a well positioned gorgian fan looking towards the shallow entrance.

fish and I have had times where we just went to the shallow entrance and played there. After going through the full cave a few times we sometimes like to just do the shallow end... 14M instead of 24 so more bottom time and still great spots for shots... in the chimney you can't really so much but shoot blindly and hope you get the lobsters or something... and you don't want to have people behind you in a "traffic Jam" cause you have to do that part single file.

I also did a dive just laying on the rock ledges overlooking the deepo entrance letting sharks cruise by for shots... great opportunities for photos there!

Dont be surprised if I do the cave, just once and I wont have the camera........ Just to say that I have done it and then spend the rest of the time at the shallow end just waiting for the sharks to go by.

Sounds fair enough to me but the eastern blue devil hangs out at the end of the gutter at the deep entrance and the rock ledges around the deep entrance are perfect for laying on waiting for sharks to go by There are a fair few dives around the rock without going through the cave.... hmm and I wonder if the ghost pipefish are still there...

Then there are the anenome fish... more I think of it the more i am looking forward to it.

There are also urchins that seem to have a blue light shining out of them... would love to capture a good image of that.

I think Jon still has a camera shop in town...

So with the dives, seeing as there is a lot of us can we pretty much just decide the dives ourselves? Also is there any possibility of shore diving? Cos I think I could go more than 8 dives if at all possible :D Or can we do extra boat dives and pay more?

They say they will run a Discover Scuba dive in the pool for Dan one day and if he goes ok he can do a boat dive :)

Never did any shore dives there but there would have to be some options. I think we will have enough numbers that they will cater to us. Of course Fishrock is a very condition dependent site.

Green Island has Batfish and one area I remember was like fish soup. Bait Reef isn't a great dive... but I saw more morays on one dive there than anywhere else ever... and we found some ornate ghost pipefish there years ago they didn't know where there... not sure if they are still around that site.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went out if enough people wanted an extra dive or two.... When fish and I were there last time there was just him and I on the boat and they took us out for some great diving... talk about spoiled that time:rofl3:
