You want to be a man, Missy? Gulp!

Well..... hmmm..... come to think of it... It might be easier to carry tanks & weights if I was a man.......

Went out to Silver Strand beach tonight for a quick dive, at about 35' I saw a 3ft swell shark by an old hoop net. It started to swim away, then jerked to a stop. It had taken a bait and gotten away, but the hook was still in it's mouth, and the line was fouled in the net, and wrapped around him. I caught him, removed the hook, unwrapped the line, and let it go. Last I saw it was vanishing into the distance, seemingly doing fine.

Hopefully that will bring me some good shark kharma. Felt pretty good.

Oh, and saw 2 octopi, a couple more swell sharks, several lobsters, a lot of crabs, and a tiny bat ray swimming circles around me. Very cool dive.

By any chance are you a Ted Jones that served at NSWU-1 R.P.I in 1979-1982?

Nope, I'm a AMS2 TJ Jones that served in VXE-6 87-90, if that helps.
