I was scuba diving with my group and rescued a big green turtle who had its back flipper spiked on some sharp protruding coral... does that count ?? :D

Working in the Maldives last year and during my last few days found a green turtle with a plastic bag down it's throat. Managed to gently pull the offending article out and have since been hoping that the turtle recovered from it's ordeal.... fingers crossed.
