Based upon the excellent suggestion of Ron Frank, I am posting this BOLO on a Moray in distress. You can read about it in THIS THREAD. The critter was last seen on the far north end of the inside reef (further south we would call this the second reef) located north of the Boynton Inlet just south of the Lake Worth Pier. The reef starts in 45-50' in the sand and we ran it north. There is a spur that runs west of the main reef and dead ends drifting north which is where the critter was located. I am sorry I cannot be more specific but I was not driving the boat. I have asked the owner for some GPS marks if he has them.

It is a long shot but if you dive this area, see the eel, and can figure a way to help the critter, then my post will have been worth the effort. Thanks.

Hey Kev ... thanks for the effort. You are great. Good diving to everyone on your boat this weekend. I am diving south tomorrow. I look forward to diving with you guys one of these days.

I know when baby was sick I heard tales of people feeding it hot dogs until the mouth healed although this must be somewhat disruptive to the critters natural being.

Things get sick and die, other critters eat the flesh and life's circle goes on.
