Kara,
I'd like to dive Laguna Sat. This is the first time I'll be in the water since I sprained my ankle last month, so I don't know if I will be able to make the long swim out to Deadman's. I should at least be able to hit the inner reef, but if everything feels good on the swim out, I'd be willing to head out to Deadman's.

Hi Steve,

Looks like we've both taken the same amount of time to get back in the water since getting our beach diving war wounds. :11:

Tomorrow at the Wrinkles dive in Redondo will also be the first time I'll be in the water since you and I got wrecked by that rogue wave at Marineland. I hope your ankle is feeling quite a bit better. My hand still hurts and until it completely heals, I'll be avoiding rock entries. So, I've decided that tomorrow, I'll stick to entries that only have sand. ;)

Have fun at Laguna!

Christian

Steve,

Glad to hear that you are OK to get back in the water.

Wow... you mainland beach divers get torn up, don't you! My ancient body may not be able to handle such abuse! Of course I'd be equally worried about my camera and housing.

No longer a problem! We've got it all figured out now. We're just getting the buoyancy and trim issues dialed in for the new helmet and football pads that we're all going to where from now on. ;)

I'll have to pad my camera housing as well!

Hope everyone had good dives on the mainland. The dive park here was reasonably good (up to 35-40 ft vis) although I got skunked on black sea bass over 6 dives Sat and Sun. Thur and Fri were great though.
