I've been reading about a big sargassum patch affecting Florida. Has that been affecting diving off Key Largo?

In the past three weeks, I have been on the beach from Palm Beach down to south Key Largo. I’ve dove in Fort Lauderdale, Key Largo and Miami Beach. While there is a lot of saragassum on shore, it did not impact dive conditions in any way whatsoever. I even took a “simulated” shore dive from Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in Sunday and, once you pass the patch near the shore, all is fine near the reefs. With the exception of the crazy monsoon-like weather we’ve been getting this week, April diving in south Florida has been marvelous this year.
