Just wondering if anyone from GLWC going to be on the Saturday AM charter? PvtStash and myself are making the roadtrip. Quick question, wetsuit or drysuit? Thanks.

Drysuit...though a lot of people dive it wet. Even your partner PVTSTASH has dove it wet. The water will be in the low 50's. Or colder. I've seen guys dive it wet with temps in the 40's.

Would have love to join you, but already have commitments to be in Ann Arbor that weekend. Was out on the boat last Sunday. I ended up diving dry. However, I should have dove it wet. It was really warm in the drysuit. I ended up diving with no hood and drygloves without liners on the dives in order to be more comfortable. Many of the wetsuit divers were also diving without hoods and gloves on Sunday as well.

GTXL1200.... You still visit this site.... Its been ages since you posted!

Hey there fellows I have found the water temps to be cooler than my regular haunts.
I wore Dry suit and hood with wet gloves and did not dally above 40' only to do my deco which was very warm.
We spent enough time on the Regina to get chilly it was awesome!

Wish I could join you Wolver but I will be heading to Grand Haven for some Lake Michigan dives. On exposure it really depends on your tolerance of temperature and how long of dives you are planning.
Huron has been beautiful blue the last few times I have been up there.
You will have a great time regardless. I love it up there.

CamG Keep diving....Keep training....Keep learning!

Decided to dive Gilboa wet to see how it would be. Down to 120ft @ 42 degrees. Hands got real cold ( 5mm) but otherwise alright. Heard that the Sanilac wreck dives will be a little warmer than Gilboa so went wet today. The New York @ 115 was 46 degrees. Comfortable dive and glad I went wet, this time.
