I recently got a Cobalt 2 from a friend who had to quit diving. My problem is that there is some sand up inside the high pressure quick disconnect. Is there a safe way to get it out? I lightly tapped and used a small plastic straw to get most of it out but I am sure that there is still some up inside of it. Can I flush it with some alcohol or water? Also, is there a way to clear all of the dives from it?

One can remove the quick connect from the computer and blow air into in the inlet.

The female side on the hose you can get wet to rinse.

Worst case dissemble the female side, and toss them in an ultra sonic bath.
