San Marcos River this Wednesday

If you are talking about the crypto something, it is in the San Marcos downstream from the water treatment plant. I have no knowledge about how/if infested the Comal is.

PeppermintPaddi is bringing up a big issue that we all need to start paying a lot more attention to. We need to make sure that our gear is not spreading invasive species to uncontaminated bodies of water. Vinegar works, chlorine works, and simply letting your gear dry for several days works. USFWS has spent several hundred grand to try to clean out the San Marcos. So far Weed 1, USFWS 0.

Anyone have pictures. I have not been below the water treatment plant in over a year, but that area of the river had very little weed in it the last time I dove it. It is also fairly swift and shallow with a hard bottom.
