It is located in a seriously bad spot for scuba diving. There are BIG ships passing overhead, and ripping currents. The worst part really is the poor visibility though. We often launch right there at the Coast Guard station and pass right over the area, and the best day holds around 5ft of vis. Although some calm fall days might allow decent vis on an incoming tide.

If anyone ever does try it, I would recommend a drop down a shot line and scooters to get them out from under the shipping channel on deco.

I am also amazed it took so long to discover it right under the main shipping channel in the middle of the Bay.
