Hey everyone,

Wow, how is it I've never seen this site before? Nicely done!

Well, I got my NAUI Basic in '96 but shortly after that all of my buddies moved away and I fell out of it. A few months ago, I decided I missed it too much, and so enrolled in a class at SDSU (graduating with a BS in computer science next week!!) to fill some needed units and get back underwater. It was a full semester course, and we walked away with NAUI Advanced certs as well as some AAUS work and plenty of rescue/first aid/safety training. All in all, it was a fabulous class.

So I got my card yesterday, and am amped about a full summer of diving here in San Diego-- we've had great weather so far this year. Two of my little brothers are getting their OW this month, so there'll be no shortage of buddies this time!

Oh, one other thing: I'm getting married in October, and the honeymoon is going to be a week in Moorea and Bora Bora. Just need to get the fiancee certified so we can go play together, and I'll be all set.

Thanks for listening, and see you on the boards!

Glad you found us! This is a great place to spend your SI, but watch out, it's addictive!

In California Kelp Divers you'll find some right friendly folks!

A whole bunch of congrats & best wishes
-- on the upcoming graduation,
-- on getting your brothers as buddies, and last but not least
-- on your upcoming wedding, wishing you both much joy and happiness.

Man am I jealous of your destination! The "Far East" locations is a dream destination for me.

Sounds like you have a full plate.

ENJOY IT!!!

Howdy Chris!
