I will be in San Diego Oct 1-2 and would like to do a shore dive. If there is anyone doing a dive and wouldn't mind another diver let me know. I've done 4 boat dives out of san diego but never done one off shore.

Well, if you want to make it 5 boat dives from San Diego, go to www.gottadive.com. I'm on the 7am boat to the Ruby E (2 tanks) on Oct. 1. If you're interested and reserve a spot, let me know.badger729:

I'll be diving the shores both saturday & sunday if conditions are decent. You're welcome to join- at least 1 or 2 of those dives will be at the Marine Room, the rest in the canyon.
I'll second the Shores and Marine Room. The massive sand dollar bed, hundreds of nudibranchs, Wolfeels and the Leopard sharks are in the shallows now. With the Santanas blowing right now, the ocean should be flat and vis excellent for the weekend. It's possibly the easiest beach dive in California. Walk in, walk out. Plenty of restrooms and fresh water showers at the Shores.
