I am a member of the San Diego Oceans Foundation http://www.sdoceans.org/ , a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting ocean stewardship (thru education, conservation and habitat enhancement).
If you dive, swim or surf in our oceans (especially in San Diego) you should already be a member!
Anyway, during the month of August I am participating in the SDOF Dive-A-Thon. Link to info It's similar to a walk-a-thon in that I am seeking pledges from friends & family. The goal is to log as many minutes underwater as I can in thirty days ... Aug. 1 - 30! (note from DB: Curt is a fish, I think he has a good chance of winning )
