Hey there! I´m from Spain and I´m going to San Diego for a medical meeting, can anybody tell my about diving there, should I take my equipment with me? thanks in advance.

I am also going there, and was told that www.divebums.com is the place to review various sites.

As for taking your gear, you could certainly do so, although I'd rent tanks...

I suppose the decision to take your gear depends on your desire to use rental gear as compared to the hassle of traveling with your stuff all the way from Spain. I've heard some really interesting stories about how some of the security folks treat dive gear, mainly due to ignorance.

There are a few wrecks you might want to consider seeing. A two or three tank boat dive would get you to the Yukon and the Ruby.
