I am looking for some DIR folks to dive with while I am in San Diego March 22 thru the 24th. I am new to DIR, but will hopefully be taking fundies this summer.

I am currently AOW certified. I have had my cert since I was about 13 - almost 20 years, but my family moved north before I finished high school and my diving has been limited since then. About 3 years ago I rediscovered diving and remembered how much I liked it. In the last three years I have only logged about 30 dives but each season I am finding more time to dive.

While I am not the most experienced diver, my many dives as a child allow me comfort in the the water. I am also very athletic and was a competitive swimmer until about the middle of high school. (when I started to feel like a dork in the bikini bottoms!)

If there are some DIR folks out there that wouldn't mind diving with me and giving me some pointers or tips I would greatly appreciate it. I currently dive wet with a standard single HOG set-up and 5ft primary.

Thanks.
