DPratt:
Anyone know how to get involed with DIR divers or dive club in San Diego?

San Diego has a fairly active DIR community of divers.

San Diego Underwater Explorers is a dive club for divers with an interest in DIR. The website is at www.sdue.org and the email list can be found at groups.yahoo.com/group/sdue The club hosts weekly Thursday Tweeks which are DIR skills dives held at 6:00 PM on Thursday.

There are also 2 GUE instructors who are based in San Diego, Andrew Georgitsis and myself. I run DIRF courses on a regular basis in San Diego and AG runs Rec Triox, Tech 1, Tech 2 as well as his DPV/Scooter Workshops.

For general info on San DIego diving John Moore's www.divebums.com is excellent.

If you have any questions, feel free to call or email me.
