I just posted a new video with some footage taken locally (San Diego). It's more a repository for footage I don't want to forget about than anything else, not really much special or that interesting really. Still some new HD footage shot with a Sony HDR-XR520V camcorder around Southern California, from Sept-Nov 2009. It's encoded in MPEG-2 format at 1080/30p resolution.

I use Light and Motion Sunray 2000 lights, and a light and motion Bluefin Pro housing with a Sony XR520V camcorder.

I have not looked at the LED lights much since I go back and forth from using 21W HID's with video reflectors and then back to a goodman handle. It makes them a little more economical for me with the dual use, but after reading the specs and reviews, I must admit that those light are very impressive. Do you use the dimming feature much?

Excellent work, thanks for posting it.

This takes me back to our trip last Aug 2009 when we did a live aboard off the coast of S. CA. I never thought I'd like diving dry on vacation, but I think S. CA is a repeat. I really enjoyed the diving in your area. Sharks, Sea Lions, Nudi's, Octo, and kelp to name a few, what is not to like! :D

Nice work, and thanks for sharing.
