Plan on going to san carlos to finish my open water dive cert. Is this a good place to do to. I live in arizona so it's close.
How is the visibility/water temp?

Vis can be excellent but at this time of the year it's probably around 40 ft. - gotta bloom goin' on most likely.

Water temp now...high 80's surface. I'm quite comfortable in a 2mm shortie this time of year...actually a bathing suit is fine but there can be a lot of chopped up jellies that can sting a bit.

If you wait till winter you'll be freezin'.
