Hi everyone, first post.

We are looking at San Andres in February. Few questions...

  • What part o the island is best for beach snorkeling?
  • Where should we go with a boat we hire?
    • Any boat hires to go with or stay away from?
  • Can we rent Kayaks and explore easily/safely?
    • Looks like the following are right off shore
      • Johnny Cay
      • Islote Cordoba Acuario
      • Rocky Cay
  • Possibility of seeing whale sharks, whales or sharks?
  • Any creatures worth noting to steer clear of that may inspect us and want more than a look at our gear? :)
