Halbert and Sandra are just naturally beautiful and positive people. they care about the ocean and their community. they have gone out of their way to promote local people to DM and boat captains. Halbert grew up on Providencia. Sandra's love of the ocean and its critters is palpable.

I will forever be drawn back to Providencia.
Where did you stay when diving with Anda Di Wata? My first trip there I stayed at a place right by the SW Bay sign called Miss Mary. When I went back last year I stayed at a different area and saw that they were fixing up the place.

Does the dive shop pick you up or it on the diver?

We stay in a house up the road a bit. It was about a 15 minute walk along the beach in the morning. The name eludes me but the owners are Claudia and Carumba.
No, no pick up by the shop. Not sure you'll find that anywhere on the island.
We were going to go over Christmas but airfare was insane and now the posadas on the island have a weird pricing policy. Apparently now you pay by person, not by room.
Still the best place to be, though.

The first time I dove in Providencia was with Sonnys. I negotiated with them to include transportation from/to our lodging in SW Bay. We were doing our AOW so that helped my bargaining position.
