Howdy
Had an expensive fresh water dive the other day when I left my o-ring out of my Salvo 21W. Good news was the battery was disconnected from the ballast so no underwater meltdowns
The GREAT news was the service on the light. First...Brent (Hunter991...originally sold me the light) provided sound counsel to pack the light up and get it to Salvo soonest. That done, Cory at Salvo clued me in pretty quick that the battery performance was still good but the flooding (even with the batteries fully dried out by Salvo) will eventually corrode faster than normal.
That said...Cory swapped out the light switch, completed the battery "burn" test and charged me...NOTHING! He also cut me a very nice deal on a new battery pack.
Just thot I'd share...
