What a great site!

My husband and I took a resort course last year in Cozumel and absolutely loved it ... so much that we got certified last summer in Seattle.

Now we're trying to figure out where to go for our first _real_ dive vacation. Right now deciding between Fiji (probably Garden Island) or Roatan (probably Anthony's Key). The trip reports and recommendations on this site are fabulous, and have been really helpful. The problem is both places sound so good, it's hard to decide!

There are quit a few PNW divers here on the boards. I usually dive on Whidbey Island when i'm up in the Seattle area.

I would flip a coin to decide where to go this yr and then do the other next yr.

Hi Polly, We are from the Seattle area too.
My husband and I got certified last summer too and took our first dive vacation to Playa Del Carmen/Cozumel. It was great. We had a great time and really want to try Anthony's Key too.
