Has anyone ever used a product called Salt Away? It is sold in marine stores to flush the salt out of marine engines. Their brochure says it can be used to remove salt and corrosion from wet suit zippers, regulators, BC quick connects. It says spray on after diving,no need to rinse off immediately. It is biodegradable, non-toxic and non-hazardous.

plain water is cheaper and more readily available... so why not just use a good clean water rinse or bath?

Captain,
I've used a product that's called saltx. I don't know if it's the same thing although it sounds it. It's a very good product, and it does work for removing salt deposts. We use it mainly for spraying down our outboard motors when they come out of the water for the winter and it does do what it claims. I know it is also used for scuba equipment, although I've never used it in that application
