Egypt inmo has been good working with protecting reefs and sharks. Commercial fishing is not really a big problem. Plenty of sharks if you know how, where, when. ”Yemeni shark fishers” is a bit of folklore. As soon as a sharky spot reef has fewer sightings, roumours about ”Yemeni shark fishers” tend to spread.

And with Yemen a good 1500km south of Brother Islands...
We had Longis at Brothers last year in October, they are still there but seem to have decided to be a little more shy compared to previous years (or the ban on throwing left overs into the water has an effect).
