lil castaway! i DID see my first seahorse while there last June! little guy was just out on the bottom hangin on to a piece of seaweed! small, but it was a seahorse!!

Awesome news Donnad! I'm definitely going to be on the lookout! He's probably not there after a year but you never know, maybe his babies are.

Climb Mt. Scenery. Dont make excuses not to climb it...make excuses to get to the top. It is SO worth it.

First Picture: Dennis W.

Second Picture: Dennis H.

There is a bit of a difference. :D
That's not a real photo of Dennis H.

Dennis has more hair covering his body than that :rofl3:

OK, I finished ironing the clothes and then packed everything for the trip...

Weight - 79 lbs...

52 on the suitcase
27 on the carry-on
====

Stripped all dive gear down to the basics...
Took all clips off BC
Took out the flashlight
Changed to my older, lighter fins
Took out everything that could be taken out of the UW Camera case (manuals, CDs, etc.)
Took pages/Cert cards out of my dive log... will be leaving dive log at home
Changed to smaller/lighter suitcase
Added a "Fanny Pack" to tote batteries (all rechargeable)

Result of repack

Weight - 63 lbs.

43 on the suitcase
20 on the carry-on
----

There's plenty of room, even in the smaller suitcase. But, there's no more weight I can add...

Hope WinAir remembers dive gear additional weight allowance :D
