I just bought the Sony RX100 but I noticed it does not have a underwater mode function unlike my previous two cameras F31D and OlympusXZ1.

I'm a little concerned because I want to shoot auto when I swim with the faster pelagi creatures - dolphins sharks etc.. on my next trip.

Whats the work around?
 
Learn to shoot in manual. Adjust your settings as needed. Changing shutter speed, for example, is super easy with the rear dial.
