Ruptured Eardrum Question

I also ruptured and eardrum while diving when I should not have been (I was instructing and did not want to call off a class, just because my sinuses were bothering me), it took about 3 years to recover to the point where I could dive again, and about 7 years before I could do multi dive/multi day kind of diving.
 
:fish:Thanks to everyone who replied. I appreciated your help. As my ENT was comfortable with the way my ear looked, I felt okay about trying again so soon. I went back to Anacapa about three weeks after the rupture. I took psuedoephed (the real stuff) and Afrin. I did feel a little more pressure on the left side while descending, but no pain. I equalized just fine.

The weird pressure in my ear that persisted after the rupture, went away about two weeks ago. The doctor said it was probably due to the "scab" on my eardrum.
