Here is a video of Prince Edward's visit to the Central Caribbean Marine Institute on Little Cayman. He talks about how much the institute has grown in the last 10 years and its importance to both research and education. He seems very dedicated and supportive of the organization and that must help to bring attention to their work.

We visited the marine institute when we were on LC last November and it is a nice facility (it looks a lot busier in the video then it was when we were there!) Some of the staff came to LCBR for Trivia Night and they won the grand prize of a bottle of wine. A local told that they win every week. They seemed like a nice group of people.

The video includes some nice images of the island, the institute and staff, the reef, and the Otter coming in for a landing. I think that the royal visit was the biggest thing to happen on LC in a long time!
