I got this from one of Wayne Greens Customers today

Hey Guys, As of Wed. July 02/03 the Joedery is off limmits to all divers.
I was there Sun June 29/03 and every thing was cool, Wed we where moored in getting ready for a dive and we where told by 2 USCG officers that the Jodery is off limmits until future notice. This came from Buffalo and they said there will be no warnings, if you dive or attempt to dive you will be charged. They have ask me to inform other operators of this news. I did get a contact
># of the Buffalo Marine Safety Office who is looking after this site from an environmental point. 716-843-9525. I think a phone call voicing your concerns as operators who relay on this site to earn a living and you divers how love the site for you own satisfaction. I will be keeping my web-site up to date with new news and details www.islanddiver.ca http://www.islanddiver.ca
Please pass this on to your fellow operators and divers

Tom: you best me to it this morning... sad news, but there is lot's more to dive in the area. Just feel for Wayne and crew because this wreck is their bread and butter site.

I heard from a source in Quebec that the reason cited for the closure was leaking oil once again -- at least if my translation is correct.

If it's any consulation, the vis was crappy last weekend... and the weekend before!
