Hello All:
New listie here. Couldn't find my answer in the archives; pardon if this has been covered.
While diving in Thailand, I saw a safety marker that I want, but cannot locate. Unlike my heavy duty 6' marker from Dive-Rite that is so big that I must attach it to my pony, yet still gets knocked over by wind and waves, this was like a round exercise ball.
It Inflated to about one meter, fit in a pocket, was inflated from the power inflater hose, could be inflated from depth, and because of its round shape, could not be knocked down. While shorter than most markers, its girth more than made up for visibility.
The German diver carrying it said it was common in Germany, but couldn't communicate how to purchase one due to his lack of English and my lack of German.
Anyone have any idea about manufacturer or equivalent?
Much appreciated.
