Yes, VDH sold hose covers and I have both versions given me by Bryan for testing. One is Velcro closed and the other is sewn, both Cordura tubes. The Scuba Museum I believe does have the Velcro type. VDH sewn covers:

But for you cheapo types and who who cannot sew there are spinning rod (not casting) covers, you can make the covers longer even trapping them beneath the mouthpiece clamps:

Now this being a scuba forum I probably should not get too deep into proper LM bass fishing but most Southern boys do fish for LMB. And we use a casting rod, not a yankee stick
. But you will want the spinning rod covers for your hoses if so inclined. A casting rod on bottom and Yankee Stick (spinning rod) on top:

My SIL sent me her prize sewing machine to repair as everybody said it could not be fixed. I fixed it because I can fix most things. But, in the process learned to sew a straight line! She had to pry it back from my hands as I fell in love with the darn thing. A fully mechanical device, so complex and yet so simple, how could I not.
