Rock Port New Years Dive

I checked out the conditions Thursday and there was not a spec of ice in the loading slip. The boat launch pond was only 1/2 froze and did not look thick enough to walk on. And Lake Huron was so calm you wouldn't believe it.

So the dive is on for noon on Tuesday. I have promises that there will be a heated trailer in the parking lot. :: Lets start the New Year right so I can send my drysuit in to have a new zipper put on.:

Not sure if I will be getting wet.

But the least I can do is be there for moral support. And to take a few pics.

I just uploaded some of the pictures that Thunder Bay Minnow took, not much to report on with the exception that it was chilly and the vis was terrible. To bad we didn't get any photos of Keith, and Scott in there wetsuits. Thanks Jeff and Jim for the support and photos.
