After much political wrangling, the government of Roatan has finally decided on which of the two major warehouse clubs should have a footprint in Roatan
Costco is the winner. (Dodosuco is the CA name)
It will be built on the stretch of land between the RTB Airport and Spyglass Hill.
The Superstore will feature a more central American positioned selection of hard goods and foods, including a large selection of rice and beans, steel car wheels, flip flops, 5 gallon pails, wiper blades, and designer-ish sunglasses. A great selection of island dogs (not the ones at the Cafe) and Banana Soda on ice.
50 gallon drums of Paraquat, excellent for controlling the invasive Mangroves, and Family Size DDT beach sand sprayers for eradication of sand fleas as well as everything else.
Two full aisles of Fabuloso cleaning products as well as Lifebouy and Cashmere Boquet hand soaps will be front and center.
Turtle Eggs when in season.
The store will accept only clean crisp US $100 in payment, change will be given in Honduran coins.
