I woke up this morning and jumped on SB as is part of my morning ritual, I had to re read this new again as can't beleive it's true. Yesterday I was stunned and in shock upon discovering the news, today I'm immensely sad. Marcia I will miss you...go in peace. We are having a typhoon today, the universe is not happy.

It hurts...

RIP Quero! Very sad indeed. She always added something of value to many discussions. She will be missed :-(

Like many other people here I have never had the opportunity to meet Marcia in person. Whenever I would see that she had posted in a thread I was reading, I was very interested to read what she had to say. Funny, inspiring, helpful and thoughtful are words that come to mind when I think of Marcia. We have had a couple of conversations in threads that resulted in me learning something. Even though we were not friends yet I will miss reading her thoughts and comments here on ScubaBoard.

Rest in Peace Marcia you will be missed by many many people.

To your family & friends I send my deepest sympathies and best wishes.

I never met Quero and, to my recollection, never interacted with her directly on SB. Nevertheless, she had my respect for her demeanor and knowledge, and she was on the short list of posters who I would nearly always stop to read. Quero, Marcia, will be missed in this community.

I'm incredibly stunned to have read this terrible news.

Quero visited the Big Island a couple years ago and we talked via PM about getting together for a dive in Hilo, but we just couldn't get the timing right to make it happen. I just figured we'd go "next time".

I'm going to miss her "voice" on ScubaBoard.

Aloha, Quero.

I'm shocked... RIP Quero. Any new news on what happened?

I'm still saddend about Marcia's passing. My condolences to her family and friends. Her Avatar said so much about how she was enjoying life. That's how I'll remember her.
