Very sorry for your lost. The older I get the more I think how I will handle such situations. You a strong person, continue to live and love life. She will be waiting for you...

This is a pretty awesome post. We guys are used to keeping this "stuff" inside, but we all know it's an act right?

If Mrs. Stoo passed before me, and I even thought about not diving, she'd come back and haunt me until got back in the water. On the other hand, I know that when I go, she'll stop diving... And probably take up with the pool boy. ;-)

We are 14 years different in age, so odds are, I'll be going first... Which is a good thing for me. I don't really know what I'd do without her. Starting with finding my, well, everything...

Enjoy your trip. Diving makes everything better.

My most sincerest condolences. My wife has been my constant dive buddy and partner in crime for the last 10 years, and we met as divers on Cozumel. I cannot imagine life without her but I know she would want me to get back in the water if something happened to her, and I would want her to dive the heck out of life if something happened to me.
It's just not right and it makes you wonder what the whole universe is about, but find a way to enjoy your trip, you deserve it and she would demand it.
