I just heard this evening that Martin ( @Diving Dubai ) passed away peacefully a couple of days ago at home in Devon after leaving Dubai a couple of years ago having been diagnosed with cancer.

Martin loved diving up in Musandam and frequently organised many dhow trips up in that area of North Oman.

You were already missed over the past few years since you left the UAE, may you Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. I have been sending him PMs over the past several months but have not received an answer. The last PM was only a couple of days ago. He used to reply to me but stopped suddenly.

May he rest in peace. May Allah give patience and solace to his family and friends.

Very sad news. We were on the dhow trips a couple of times- had a great time, felt like one big family.
May he Rest in Pease.

RIP Martin!

I enjoyed going in one of his trip to Dibba North & Musandam.

Here’s my trip report:

Sad news indeed.

Rest in peace, Martin ❤️.
