Join us on Tuesday, November 9th, our guest speaker will be Mike Boring. Socializing begins at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at Mi Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, located at 8250 Midlothian Turnpike, in Richmond.
Mike Boring's fascination with shipwrecks began on his first wreck dive off of the New Jersey coast in 1971. Since then he has explored wrecks in many parts of the world, from warm tropical islands in the Pacific to the icy waters of the Baltic sea.
Mike is back by popular demand with a new presentation and we will be the first to hear it! He will be talking about the shipwrecks surrounding Narvick, Norway 200 miles from the arctic circle. Narvick was the sight of a World War II naval battle and looks like it is home to some neat wrecks. We look forward to seeing you there!
