Going to Reef House Resort Nov 27th. How much damage did the recent hurricane cause and what water temperatures should I expect? Will I be comfortable for three dives a day in my full 3mm wetsuit?

I'm pretty sure there was no damage from the hurricane. I just talked to Mike (the owner) and all is good. They have their new dive boat and nitrox now. When we were there about a month ago the water temps were in the mid to upper 80's. While the temps will probably be a little cooler when you go, I can't imagine that a 3ml wetsuit won't be enough. I started out that week we went with a 2ml shortie and ended the week with no wetsuit at all. Mike and the Reef House Resort are great. You will have a wonderful time. I think it's the best value on the island.

Do you know if RHR or any others on the island have DIN tanks?

Thanks

Dunno, but most do have adapters, as we all should as individual DINheads.

There may be a few that have DIN fitted tanks, but selecting a dive-op based on that will be very limiting. There are very very few ops that will "loan out" tanks unless you're diving with them, and if you aren't housed nearby- that can be an issue on Roatan... for a small island, it's a pretty big place.
