Primas is out of this world for us. We love the food and the staff. It says something for a business when you visit twice a year and you always see the same people with virtually no turnover. For many years Prima was the only place we ate lobster on the island after trying a number of others. Our friend John from MD has eaten there with us in Nov. and again in May this year and wont eat anything but the lasagna. He says its the best he has ever had. We just love the place but some do give it bad reviews. I just dont understand where they are coming from. Its a never miss for us and we have been known to eat there 4 times during our 10 day stays. GO PRIMA

How very sad. I spent many a night there eating incredible food with friends and family. I will miss it very much. Thanks for your kind response.
I had many great meals at Prima; the food was very good and the wine list was extensive. I'm sure the new location will bring all that with it.

My only complaint about the old location was that it had a cigar store downstairs from it, and sometimes guys (I don't mean to stereotype, but it was always men) would bring their purchases upstairs and light up after they were done eating. Nothing ruins a meal more quickly and thoroughly for me than the stench of cigar smoke.
