Gang,

From the factory, my tank strap buckles are closer to the right side than the left. I'd like to reverse that. I want my pony on my right side and the tank strap buckles would be in the way there.

I can't see any reason why I can just undo the straps, pull them out from the right and then feed them back through from the left. I guess that'll mean the buckles are "upside down" but they'll also be on my left leaving me plenty of room for the pony on the right.

Is there any reason this would be a bad idea?

Thanks in advance...

-Charles

Hi Charles
There is no reason whatsoever you can't reverse the bands to position the buckle on the other side.

Sweet! Thanks Chris. It doesn't make THAT much difference, actually. By reversing the straps, it gives the velcro part of the strap more of the fuzzy side to lay down on (pardon my horrible grammar).

By the way, the whole purpose of this is to make a bit more room on the right for the Zeagle Pony Tank Bands.

I have a 6 foot tank and a 13 foot tank and I'll carry whatever one makes sense for the dive trip I'm doing. I have the mesh bag for the 6 foot tank on the right sort of behind the pocket.

With the 13 foot tank, I use the bands. With them also on the right, my Envoy will always be clipped to the same spot on my BC.

Thanks again!

Charles,

Sure you can reverse them, but I never saw the need to.

See attached.
