MechDiver:
Already been discussed and answered. Read the forums.

I'm confused.

Are you suggesting that I run a search for an answer before starting a new thread as I did?

Or are you suggesting that I go back and read every single thread on a topic, in case the five or six search parameters I tried didn't catch what I was looking for? This is probably what happened, but seems like a prohibitively time-consuming solution.

Or is it just that I should read the forums with such constant diligence and regularity that I would never have to run a search again because I will have already memorized everything?

In any case, thanks for your helpful advice.

I think he's suggesting that when you have a question, you run a search for the answer, and read any threads that immediately seem relevant before posting. For example, searching for "manifold nuts" on your behalf yielded only 14 threads, some that didn't seem relevant, like "Zeagle Ranger / Tech with doubles" and "F/S Dual Iso Manifold and Stainless dual tank bands...Great shape", as well as some that did, like "Moving the manifold isolator".

You can find that short thread here:
