I will second a few and add a few:

Mona Lisa's Bar Hap Menu for 13 USD is a steal. Eat at a table in the bar or outside and choose from a fish, meat or sate menu. Lovely. I second the fish at Mi Banana. I think it's 17 guilders or 10 USD and it's very good. I love the garlic sauce. It's a fun setting with a view of the brothel lights across the street. Pretty pink...

There is a Swaarma truck near Telbo run by some Middle Eastern locals. The food is cheap and good and quick.

Antriol Catering (Rincon) is very affordable for lunch. PM for directions. They always have fresh fish and feature an Antillean menu such as Yambo and other items.

Jibe City's Hang Out Bar has sandwiches and salads for a great price. They feature a healthy but tasty menu. The biggest plus is dining seaside with the windsurfers showing off their stuff.

Bobbijan's is my fav for fish and it's so cheap. It's a weekend spot. The ribs are popular as well.

I too love Lize's Sat. and Sunday home take away spot for great cheap Surinamese food. We order the Nasi Rama and share it. It's enough for my daughter and I.

Enjoy and follow your Bonaire Bliss

My 2 cents too....I agree with Ann on all of the above, I also LOVE Nadi Snack for Chinese. Here Beef, Tomatoes and Peppers as well as her Sweet and Sour Shrimp is to die for. For $15 us you could easily feed to people and have leftovers for lunch the next day. Another favorite is Me Banana, similar to El Fagon Latino food and price wise. Another suggestion. Call Giby at his home for a take out meal. He prepares nightly take away meals cheap you can pick up from his home. All of the food is authentic Bonairean such as Goat Stew, Green Bean Stew, etc. and it is great.

here is my my PSI....Makie Snack for local food, fish, goat, iguana etc. its an adventure to find but not to tough, lunch only. Second or third the Rose Inn in Rincon. Unbelievable is a new place downtown with roof top dinning, we found it very good and not a bad deal for the price.Donna & Giorgios pretty good italian food.

Bobbijan's oooh man....don't miss this spot...Friday to Sunday only !

Stortechy, you got some great recs here but please note several are NOT in the 5-10 USD pp price range that you had initially asked. I realize the rec I made for Mona Lisa's Bar Hap is 13.00 but close enough.

Have fun eating...and follow your www.bonairebliss.com
