........PERFECT....(thanks Zeagle guys for producing this one)......Made 17 boat dives last week in Little Cayman(1st time using it) with Little Cayman Beach Resort........Was perfect...I would recommend this BC to anyone needing a(warm weather, traveling) BC......Wife even used it on a couple dives & loved it....Only thing I saw Zeagle boys( & it was a plus for me), I had the ONLY Zeagle(out of about 12 to 15 divers) on the boat all week.....Will bring it to the Flower Gardens in 2 days(Wed thru Fri) of this week & get 7 more dives in with it.........thanks Zeagle.......

Hmm I wonder if this would be good for me. I just sold my purple Oceanic on e bay, and I'm in the market now for a new BC. Tell me more..please!

I have been diving one for years and really like it. Mine is one of the older stripped down versions, exactly what I wanted for travel. I have made some slight mods to mine to suit me but otherwise it have served me well.

Herman do you have a pix? Also why is so good for travel?

I've been diving with the old model as well for about 5yrs now and love it. My diving is all warm-water so the light weight and compact size is perfect for packing. Mine was modified to include weight pockets on the front, but they aren't the big cumberband kind that you see on most Zeagles.

I tried on a new Scout and the LaZer but after being so used to my "old" Scout, I'm not so sure I like the feeling of the cumburband... I'm taking extra good care of mine so it lasts. Might have to go BP and wings when it's time for something new, or get one of these w/o the cumberband.

I have added a pocket, crotch straps and put some inserts into the weight pockets (the old ones only had rear intergtrated weights-not sure about the new model). There are photos on the board that I have posted in the past. If you need a lot of weight, a different BC may be a better choice. More than 10lbs or so will tend to make top heavy and the BC becomes unstable but you can always add a weight belt. I almost never need more than 10 lbs so it's not an issue for me.

IMO the biggest reason it is so good for travel is it's light- 4 lbs and packs small.

The pockets on the Scout are the same as the small storage pockets on the Stiletto - not the large weight pockets. If you had pockets added to an "old style" Scout, they are most likely the same (or a timy bit smaller)

The waist panels are 100% removable. If you don't like them, you can remove them in about 1 minute!!!

I dove the Scout for years prior to switching over to the Stiletto, and I still love that little BC!!! :D
