Well....did not make it out to Jesus in the bathtub but it was an interesting dive.
Viz was not good, pretty well constant sand storms from the barge to the Monarch, the current may have been close to the strongest I have encountered on this dive and it took all the strength you had to pull yourself along the Monarch from the stern to the bow while holding your mask on your face. 3 minutes from the barge to the Monarch. Did see alot of fish (up close).
Dispite the current Ray did manage to get some pictures of the Monarch and Barge and I will attempt to attach a few.
Ray and I are thinking about doing another Courtright drift after work this week so stay tuned for the date and come on out.

regards,Chris (AKA Spud)

Good pictures, there has been some VERY strange currents in and around the barge/monarch over the last couple of weeks. Not sure what is causing it, but it makes it an interesting dive each and every time now as you never know what you are going to be dealing with....Keep us posted on the drift.

Some of the St. Lawrence currents seemed brisker this year too......gotta get a Sarnia dive in this season!

Let us know and we can all meet to do the drift shoredivr. we are usually up there Friday at 6:00 pm but anytime Saturday should be good. Fridays are better because we usually get a night drift to the Monarch in.
