Hi; I'm thinking of buying a Scubapro Knighthawk, and I read one review suggesting their balanced power inflator is a little blustery, and the one I borrowed to test it out seemed to add air in pretty big gulps even when I went easy on the button. I was thinking of changing out the power inflator with a different one, either an aftermarket one or a replacement from another brand of BC, and wondering if anyone had any experience / suggestions, including experiences with the current model scubapro inflator (not the air 2), other replacement inflators including maybe the halcyon which looks very nice if they'll sell it separately, and in general, whether they're really all that different from one another, and how incompatible they are due to intentional differences in the size of the corrugated hose fittings from one bc to another. I'm required to use a dedicated octo for the stuff I'm doing, but if the only really nice inflators are aftermarket octo ones like the atomic ss1, I could just have 3 air sources for working, and take off the dedicated octo for recreational dives, but for cost and weight reasons I'd rather not go that route if I can help it. Thanks in advance for any info anyone can give me.
