Hi, I have a Cressi BCD, and on my last dive trip, the spring in the inflator hose gave up and my BCD started filling continuously. The man in the dive shop managed to fix it with a (non-Cressi) spring, so that it worked perfectly for the rest of the trip with no further malfunctions.

Should I take the BCD in to get the inflator replaced, or is it OK to keep it as is?

Thanks!!

I had just the opposite experience. When I pressed for air it just trickled into the BCD. I am wondering if we are missing some maintenance procedure on the device.
