As I was doing an advance review of my dive gear prior to a trip upcoming in 5 weeks, I discovered my UEMIS SDA - last used March 2012, now does not seem to even charge. I've plugged it into several different computers' USB ports for several hours with no "awakening".
Flash back to Aug 2011 when I was on a dive trip in Grand Cayman and I learned UEMIS was going "belly-up". At the time I decided to use the SDA "until it died". Unfortunately, that time seems to have arrived.
Even worse, the Lynx that is the planned replacement does not seem to be available for shipping (if the date holds) until the day I leave for Indonesia!

I really do not want to buy a computer just for this trip.
I'm 90+% certain that my next computer will be the Lynx.

As most of the time is spent pursuing UW photo, I want a wrist mounted AI computer with a large (easy to rapidly interpret) display.
The upcoming trip will be providing Nitrox, so this compatibility is a necessity.

Now what?
Anyone know of a shop that will rent a Mares ICON HD (or other similar computers) with transmitter for my trip?
