Renting a car in Grand Cayman

Hello all just had a few minor questions. First I am considering renting a car in grand cayman I am staying at the mariott beach resort on 7 mile beach. I have never been diving there before. Is it worth it for me to get a car and take advantage of the shore dives. Also are a lot of the shore dives within close distance to drive to?? thank you

The first place I go after I land is the AVIS counter. For me, it's worth it just for the freedom. They drive on the left, though, so be prepared.

Some great shore diving 10-15 minutes drive north of the Marriott. (Turtle Farm and Lighthouse Point) Lots of other sites as well (Sunset House,Cobalt Coast etc)

I have always rented from Andys Grand Cayman Car Rental - Andy's Car Rental Cayman Islands and been very happy with them.
The small jeeps work well for two people and a pile of wet dive gear.
