Second correction:
It is NOT possible to remove the shutter valve from EITHER the yoke or DIN versions of the Aqualung ACD models.

I apologize to those whom I may have misled. As you no doubt discovered, stuff falls out if you try.

Only solutions to this ACD failure issue are
1) replace with a non-ACD tank mount if possible for your model, or if not
2) torque precisely to spec.

Again, I'm sorry for misleading folks.

No problem and thanks for the update. He decided to sell the Legend and went with an older model Mikron for travel. Its interesting that AL seems to be embracing the ACD. The 2018 Mikron now comes with the same feature.

Yes, why not? it is a feature that not have much extra cost in manufacturing, i think it is more costly to shelf two different versions of different parts.
