Most likely Wurkkos and Aplos are the same company just different brand. They are pretty similar.

I've had several DGX-600 lights for years and they are rock solid. Today I would probably replace them with the DGX-1000 which uses a bigger 21700 battery. These lights are low cost and high quality. A great bargain.

Lucky you are in the us. I am in canada we don't have access to this and the canadian pesos is terrible and will even be worse today starting at noon.

FWIW, I have the Orcatorch D710 (~a year), while the rest of my tec team has the Dive Rite can light (we all have Dive Rite backups). Tec divers at the shop are a mix between Dive Rite and Orcatorch. I've experienced no reliability issues with the light itself, but the 'build' is not as good as the Dive Rite. The bolts holding the Goodman assembly have come loose at times. I now keep the correct sized allen wrench and a half dozen backup bolts) in my save-a-dive kit. The light is certainly good (and when buying a full tec setup it was an easy place to cut $$), but you can definitely see what the extra $600 gets you upgrading to a Dive Rite. Can't speak to other brands.
